“Gayle was a dear friend, and I will miss our sometimes three hour breakfasts at the park diner. Gayle, a vegetarian, always ordered the bacon to take home for her dogs. (even the last time we met which was August 10th) Her story telling and insights on almost all subjects made her a pleasure to know. Most importantly, her kindness to me will be missed.. Nothing I say here is adequate or remotely worthy. So I'll shut up.”
