She was predeceased by: her husband Adolph "Chick" Chakanovsky; and her siblings, Garfield Vanderpool, Lwelelyn Vanderpool, Richard Vanderpool, Bess Hines, Trudie Powers and Nellie Parish.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanie M. Chakanovsky and Linda Heier (Dale); her grandchildren, Angie Arnoult (Mike) of Lake Zurich, Illonois and Dale Heier (Melissa) of Binghamton; her great grandchildren, Michael Arnoult, Ashley Arnoult, Dylan Heier and Nathan Heier; her sister Winifred Porter of Montgomery; her nephew Richard Dudak; and her friend Colleen Beck. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to a charity of one's own choice.
