He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvira Smith (Stewart) and Thorold Smith; and his brother Stewart. He is survived by: his sister Annette Smith; his spouse Janet Smith; and his children, Cheryl Franco (Joseph), Scott Smith, Jodi Rupelli (Gregory), Wendy Colonello (William), Corey Smith, Jessica Cerutti (Kevin) and Justin Marshall. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
