It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian P. Wooden of Binghamton, New York, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Hampton; her husband Wallace Wooden Jr.; and her brothers, Ellis Hampton and Jimmy. She is survived by: her siblings, Ernest Hampton (Shirley), Juanita Adams, Willie Hampton (Debra Williams), Mary Hampton, Johnnie Mae McGhee, Robert Hampton, Rudy Hampton (Josie), Lynette Jackson and Lyvette Watts; her children, Richard Hampton (Anita), Cherreyene "Cheri" Hampton, Theshema Wooden, Lafayette Wooden (Erika Miller) and Malcolm Wooden; her grandchildren, Sheniqua Wright (Shallah), Lamar Hampton (Kim), Candice Hampton, Xzavian Johnson, Santika Wimberly (Alyssa), Tiana Zareski Wooden, Alexis Wooden, Ty Wooden, Zoey Myers, Cameron Wooden, Mia Wooden and Alyssa Wooden; her great grandchildren, Joshua Hampton, Marcel Collins, Addison Wimberly, Ayden Wimberly, Tevin Johnson, T'Niyah Johnson, Ajelee Jones, Tristan Johnson, Tayden Johnson, Demarius Hampton and Ariyah Haskett; and her grandchildren, Talyse Hampton, Devin Weldon, Donnell Weldon, Jonas Hampton, Sugar Williams, Nicholas Hobbs and Cinnamon Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other wonderful grandchildren she loved.
