She is survived by: her parents, Lona Goodwin and Stanley Sheetz; her husband Nathan Smith; her mother-in-law Jane Smith of Norwich, CT; her sister Rebecca Sheetz; and her pets, Violet, Vera and Milo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Samantha's name may be made to Metavivor, a non-profit organization for metastatic breast cancer research, awareness, and support.
