He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Stearns Smith and Irene Rork Smith; his wife Mary Murphy; his children, Matthew Smith Olean (Anne Sequerth), Coleen Bump Cuba (Randy) and Benjamin; his granddaughters, Rachelle, Breanna and Alyssa; his great grandchild Chloe; and his sisters, Donna Appleby Allegany (Tom), Phyllis Maxson Friendship, Jean Feaster Emmett of Idaho and Sue Klick Sebastapol.
