He was predeceased by: his parents, John G Sterzinar, and Anna Sterzinar, Sr.; his daughter Margery Chapman (Ed) of Gaylord, MI; and his sister Ellen (Harry Henry). He is survived by: his children, John III (Kathie) of Jensen Beach, FL, Diane Clain (Tim) of Proctor, VT and Frank (Gayle) of Reno, NV.; his grandchildren, Alyssa Moriarty, Edward Chapman (Tanya), Johnele Babcock (Matt), Brianne Sterzinar and Christopher Clain; his great grandchild Isabella of Florida; and his sister Dodie Graham of Ft. Wayne, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Trainor Funeral Home (143 Schuyler St, Boonville, NY 13309). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Church (112 Charles St, Boonville, NY 13309). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Boonville Elks Lodge #2158.
