She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Johnston Livingston and Caroline Livingston; her siblings, Henry, Ann and David; her children, Abby and John; her children-in-law, Sam and Jennifer; and her grandchildren, Sam, Lila, Cordelia, John and Harrison.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, which provided outstanding care and comfort at the end of her life.
