She was predeceased by: her husband Ben; and her son Salvatore. She is survived by: her daughter Carol; her son-in-law Louis Scerra; her grandchildren, Kristin Campiotti (Joseph), Louis Scerra (Molly) and Michael Scerra (Kathryn); her great grandchildren, Abby, Lia, Madelyn, Natalie, Luca, Benjamin and Robinson; and her sister Gigi. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bessie's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
