It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred William Kackmann (Bronx, New York), born in New York, New York, who passed away on October 2, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Fred Kackmann and Adele Kackmann; his daughter Ellen; and his brother John.

Fred's family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the ASPCA (http://www.aspca.org) or New York Humane Society (http://www.humanesocietyny.org), given his love of animals and concern about their welfare.
