With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Raciti (Bronx, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on June 16, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Rosanna; his children, Philip (Catherine), David (Rania) and Tina; and his grandchildren, John, Isabelle, Juliet, Catherine and James.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sisto Funeral Home (3489 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10465). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church (1703 Lurting Ave, Bronx, NY 10461).
A military ceremony will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery following the Mass. Flowers are appreciated, but the family also invites donations to the Bronx VA Medical Center. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the Veterans Affairs charity, link posted below in John's Honor.
