He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ethel Davenport and Theodore Davenport; his son Andre Lawrence Davenport; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Davenport; his grandchildren, Ottivia M Holmes, Andre Jr., Alexander and Aiden; his sisters, Janice Davenport of New York and Robin Davenport of New London; and his niece Candy Logan of North Carolina. He was also cherished by cousins, nephews, and friends.
