He is survived by: his significant other Liz Leite; his daughters, Erica Pitegoff Fontana and Samantha Louise Fontana (Nikola Ragusa); his godson Mark Provenzano; his brother Robert Fontana (Vicky Dorn Fontana); his cousins, Nick, Kathy Titakis, Tom and Lori Durakis; and his grandchildren, Juliette Elena, Lucy Isabelle Hoag-Fontana and Luke Sonny Ragusa.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Joe's favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
