It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Rivers of Brooklyn, New York, born in Reevesville, South Carolina, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Shirley Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shirley Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Britt and Lillian Willis Britt. She is survived by: her significant other Robert Timothy Rivers; her siblings, Betty Britt, Napoleon Britt and Billy Britt; and her children, Starmander Rivers, Michael Rivers, Shirlene Rivers and Antonio Rivers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown and Son Funeral Home (5901 W Jim Bilton Blvd, St George, SC 29477). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
