He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Shanahan and Jessica Shanahan; his brothers, Gavin and Owen Shanahan; his grandparents, William, Linda Shanahan, Kathleen, James Bastedo, John Callanan and Cynthia Manning; his aunts and uncles, Jennifer, Ryan Welshans, William, Rachel Shanahan, Dylan Janis and Michele Lund; and his cousins, Cailin, Natalie, Adriane, Will Shanahan, Lylah, Baylee, Allison Welshans and Sofia Burns.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Carson's name to the PUNT Pediatric Cancer Collaborative Foundation or the Aquarium of Niagara.
