Dennis Schmitt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Schmitt of Buffalo, New York, who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Schmitt and Ruth Schmitt (Blum); and his brother Vernon Schmitt (Shirleen). He is survived by: his significant other Carol Cialone; his children, Jeremy (Robin), Jamie (Teresa) and Jason (Deanna); his grandchildren, Joshua, Emily (Zach Lowerre), Sienna, Jason Jr., Savannah, Cole and Lola; and his siblings, Duane Schmitt and Beverly Liaros (Peter). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kolano Funeral Home (396 Amherst St, Buffalo, NY 14207).
If desired, donations to the Buffalo VA Medical Center in Dennis' memory are prefered.
