She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanito Maruso and Pacita Maruso; and her siblings, Martin Maruso and Evangeline Maruso. She is survived by: her husband Edward J. McEwan; her daughters, Maria M. Perez (Ernestali) and Darlene J. Zybala (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Ernestali Perez III, Enrique Perez, Esteban Perez, Ellysandra Perez, Emylia Perez, Hazel Zybala and Henry Zybala; and her siblings, Cecilia Basa, Jhoe Maruso and William Maruso. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel) (885 Niagara Falls Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph University Church (3269 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14214).
