She was predeceased by: her spouse Alexander G. Vergos; her sibling Constantine Karayiannis (late Panagiota); and her sibling-in-law Vasiliki Balas (Zoes). She is survived by: her children, Katherine Vergos (John Buchlis), Chrysanthe Vergos and Georgia Vergos; her grandchildren, George Buchlis (Kerry Krauss), Alexander Buchlis (Linsey) and Alexa Rogers; her great grandchildren, Katherine and Jonathan; her sibling John Karayiannis (Eleni); and her siblings-in-law, Soultana Balasis (Pericles), Peter Vergos (Peggy), Louis Vergos (late Joanne) and Catherine Mathews. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Diabetes Pediatric Center, Sponsoring Diabetes Children Camp.
