It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Anne Byrne in Buffalo, New York, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick and Winifred; her siblings, Mary, Daniel, Winifred, Patrick and John; Christopher.
She is survived by: her friend Yvonne McNally; her children, Patrick (Melanie), Timothy (Marie) and Maribeth (Mustapha); and her grandchildren, Katherine, Devlin (Heather), Elizabeth (Derrick), Patrick (Gina), Quinn, Alex (Jenna), Brendan and Colin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 2164 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd, Fairport, NY 14450. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the same location.
Those wishing to remember Kathleen may do so with a donation to the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (422 S. Clinton Ave. Rochester, NY 14620-1198), whose services allowed her several more years of independent living.
