He was predeceased by: his spouse Barbara J. Borden; his parent Helen Borden; and his siblings, Joan Hughes (late Jack) and Robert Borden (Elizabeth). He is survived by: his children, Michael Borden (Rita), Robert Borden (Cindy), John Borden (Betsy) and Joseph Borden; his grandchildren, Cassie, Michael, Aidan, Maeve, Julian and Oliver; his parent Nelson Borden; and his siblings, Shirley Cox (Earl), Margaret Borden, Cathleen Meierer (Robert) and Sharon Finlayson (Paul). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
