He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Coots; his children, Justin Telesco (Kaitlin), Maryssa Telesco, Savannah Barrows (Tyler), Abbigale Coots, Reese Coots, Charles Shilen and Thomas Shilen; and his sister Barbara Bisig (late Peter).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. (911 Englewood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14223). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations in Rodney's memory to WNY Diabetes Association, Rodney was a Town of Tonawanda dispatcher for 22 years and Life Member of the Ellwood Volunteer Fire Company and a member of the Boston Volunteer Fire Company totaling more than 50 years.
