It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salvatore D. Filippone (Buffalo, New York), who passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Angela; his child Marc-Jon; his parents, John Filippone and Rose Filippone (Albanese); and his siblings, John Filippone (Mary), Robert Filippone (Patricia), Clara Buffamonte (late Frank), Mary Mancuso (late Charles) and Florence Suszek (late Marion).

He is survived by: his sons, Randall M. (Karen) and Gregg (Robin); his grandchildren, Ashlee Mckeon, Andrew Filippone, Haley Norton (Matthew) and Randall S. Filippone; and his great grandchild Liam Norton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
