She was predeceased by : her sister Dorothy Sandmeyer; her brother-in-law William Sandmeyer; her brother Robert W. Ferrell, Jr.; her parents, Helen Mincemoyer Ferrell and Robert W. Ferrell, Sr.; and her friends, Ann, Jack, Patsy, Bob and Barbara.

She is survived by : her children, Benson Jones and Elizabeth Sherwood (Tom); her grandchildren, Sarah Sherwood, Erin Sherwood (Darrin Harzewski), Regan Howlett (Mark) and Robert Jamieson Jones; her great grandchildren, Lillian Marjorie Howlett, Willow Jane Howlett, Eliza June Sherwood, Ella Brooke Harzewski and Natalie Grace Harzewski; and her nieces and nephews, Selby Davis, Debbie Sandmeyer Bryan, Dedre Sandmeyer Miriello (Frank), Brittany Bryan, Shawn Bryan and Thadeus Miriello.
