It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Bloom of Cambridge, New York, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Bloom to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Powers Sr. and Mary Costello Powers; her significant other John Bloom; her brothers, Tom, Joe and Bob Powers; and her close friend Peggy Felmly.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Bloom (Kathy) of Greenville, SC and Betsy Dearstyne (Dale) of Eagle Bridge, NY; her granddaughters, Jessica Kennedy of Cambridge, NY, Amanda Dearstyne (Kostas Sikamiotis) of Mechanicville, NY, Virginia Mehta (Chetan) of New York, NY and Kelly Bloom-Peebles (Patrick) of Washington, DC; and her great grandchildren, Madison Cannon, Alexis Kyer, Devan and Kian Mehta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
