He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Flora Gramm; his wife Winifred H. Jackson; and his children, Beth Barner (Bryan) of Camillus, Jim Jackson (Lee) of Cobbs Creek, VA and Amy Himes (Michael) of Bridgeport. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
