He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Fassett and Leola Stiles Fassett. He is survived by : his wife Beth Jones Fassett; his children, Terry G. Fassett (Jodi) of Silverdale, WA, Mary A. Barth (Bernhard) of Commerce Township, MI and Scott A. Fassett (Andrea) of Ames, NY; and his grandchildren, Jada, Jordan and Quincey.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department.
