It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen S. Lahue of Canandaigua, New York, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maureen S. Lahue to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Lahue; her son James Lahue; her son-in-law Steven Murphy; her brothers-in-law, Phillip Lahue and Thomas Schirmer; and her parents, Theodore Smith and Bernice Smith (McGuire).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Murphy (James Crowley) and Paul Lahue (Karen); her daughter-in-law Jeannine Lahue; her grandchildren, Bridget Murphy (Zach Marshall), Daniel Murphy, Colin Murphy (Kait Batting), Justin Lahue, Matthew Lahue, Nicholas Lahue, Caitlyn Bailey, Allison Bailey and Jordan Lahue; her great grandchild Nellie Marshall; and her sister Gail Schirmer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc. (47 N Main St, Canandaigua, NY 14424). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (95 N Main St, Canandaigua, NY 14424).
