He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mintel and Emily Mintel; and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his brother John (Susan); his sibling's children, Sarah Femec (Will), Benjamin Mintel (Gigi Heusler) and Michael Mintel; and his great-nieces, Nora Femec and Sierra Heusler-Mintel.
