Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Althea Marts (Canisteo, New York), born in Hornell, New York, who passed away at the age of 93, on May 15, 2020. She was predeceased by : her parents, Delbert Vanskiver and Edith Mullikin Vanskiver; her husband Samuel Marts; her daughter Linda Truax; and her siblings, Virginia Murphy and LaVerne Vanskiver.
She is survived by : her children, Autumn Benedict of Canisteo, Richard Marts (Brenda) of Alabama and Thomas Marts (Martine) of Canisteo; her brother Arlie Vanskiver (Joyce) of Canisteo; her grandchildren, Gidget Davis, Vicki Ramsey (Carl), Richard Marts II (Judy), Sean Marts (Jackie), Stacy Johnson (Tyrone), Clinton Ilges III (Mona), Chad Ilges (Angie) and Nathan Marts (Sophia); and also Freda Kelly of Canisteo. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and one more on the way, 10 Great Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 crisis, all services will be private for the immediate family.
