He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Smith and Hilda Dockstader (Lutz); and his brothers, Paul, Barry and Bill Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Helen I. Derrick of Bath; his daughter Barbara; his son-in-law Ronald Kennell of Bath; his grandchildren, Joshua Kennell (Christina) of Arkport, Timothy Kennell of Bath and Martina Drake (Shawn) of Canisteo; his great grandchildren, Darrius, Mckayla Kennell, Jayse and Marlayna Drake; and his stepsiblings, Dean Dockstader and Luanne Dockstader of Florida.
Memorial contributions in Sheldon's name may be made to any charity of the donor's choice.
