It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janeace Elizabeth Bouvia (Carthage, New York), who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Janeace may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janeace touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Bouvia; her parents, Clarence Arquette and Amy Arquette; her brothers, Robert Northrop and Walter Northrop; and her grandson John Hammond.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Hammond of Black River, NY, Cindy Ward of Black River, NY, Laurie Field (Dan) of Grantham, NH and Jon Hammond of Clayton, NY. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and several stepchildren and step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service (500 State St, Carthage, NY 13619). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
