He was predeceased by: his parent Patrick McLaughlin of Ireland; his spouse Wanda Caroline McLaughlin (Szembrot); his siblings, Mary (Mae) and Donald McLaughlin (Shirley Ann Robinson); his great grandchild Arlo Church; and also Stevens.
He is survived by: his parent Beatrice McLaughlin (Merriman) of Ireland; his stepparent Anne McLaughlin (Gara) of Ireland; his children, Catherine Mary McLaughlin (Kumar Keshavan), Laureen McLaughlin (Eric Francoeur) and Thomas McLaughlin (Wendy); his grandchildren, Chellamal Keshavan (Paulo Timas), Jayram Keshavan, Leo McLaughlin Francoeur, Sadie Church (McLaughlin) and Sean McLaughlin; and his great grandchildren, Jaiden Timas, Naila Timas, Rebekah, Clara and Alexander Church. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
