It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne L. Torrey of Ceres, New York, who passed away on May 14, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Adrian Torrey and Nina Loucks Torrey; his wife Thelma J. Smith; his sister Barbara Canfield; his stepson Ricky Wareham; his son Martin Wayne Torrey; his grandson Michael Wayne Torrey; and his siblings, Adrian Torrey, Bruce Torrey, Shirley Blakesley and Jerry Lafever.
He is survived by : his girlfriend Barbara Thomas; his children, Randall Torrey (Debbie) of Zephyrhills, FL, Robert Torrey (Brenda), Jody Torrey (Chris) of Wellsville, N. Y. and Candace Childs (John) of Greenacres, FL.; his daughter-in-law Marilyn Torrey of Zephyrhills, FL.; his brother Timothy Torrey (Dorothy) of Ocala, FL.; and his sister-in-law Lea Torrey of Zephyrhills, FL. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 51 greatgrandchildren; 11 great-greatgrandchildren.
