He was predeceased by : his parents, John Nicotera and Maria Ferraiuolo Nicotera; his wife Angela "Ann" Mauro; and his siblings, Rose Marchitelli (Joseph), Jessie Nicotera, Leo, Anthony "Chic" and George Nicotera.

He is survived by : his children, David A. Nicotera of Fayetteville, NY and Maribeth Nicotera of New York. He is also survived by his three grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday prior to service from 9:30 a. m.- 11:00 a. m. at the John L Matt Funeral Home, 3309 Oneida St Chadwicks, NY All must adhere to Covid-19 requirements wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.
