He was predeceased by: his parents, James McCann and Florence McCann (O'Meara); his former wife Lucille Leroux; and his siblings, Daniel, John, Henry McCann, Florence Rosman, Catherine Young and Marie Budge.
He is survived by: his wife Anita; his son Thomas; his daughter-in-law Monique McCann of Whippleville; his granddaughters, Erynne and Ashlyn McCann of Whippleville; and his stepchildren, William, Cathy Poupore, Russell, Ronna Trombley, Anne M. Mills, Diane Trombley, Kevin and Melissa Trombley. He is also survived by eight step grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
