He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Huntley and Bertha Huntley (Gadway); and his significant other Joyce Robinson. He is survived by: his children, Leonard Huntley, Jr. (Maria) of Connecticut, Karen Shenkle (David) of Virginia and Tom Davis of Burke, NY; and his sister Mary Lamb of North Carolina. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
