He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Sr. McArthur and Lorraine McArthur; his sister Rosemarie; his niece Therese VanAlstyne-Brown; and his great-nephew Jordan Brown.

He is survived by : his sister Barbara VanAlstyne; his brother-in-law Teddy VanAlstyne; and his siblings, Shelia VanAlstyne, Priscilla McArthur (Kemo VanAlstyne), Gloria McArthur, Lisa McArthur, Donald McArthur Jr. and Leonard McArthur (Brigette VanNess). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces.
