He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Armstrong and Laura Armstrong (Dubuque); his brothers, Russell, James, Roy and Gerald Armstrong; his parents-in-law, Thelma Garber (Bulriss) and Roy Ashline; and his sisters-in-law, Crystal Ashline and Sue Duquette.

He is survived by: his wife Penny Armstrong (Ashline); his grandchildren, Shawna Armstrong, Megan Bourgeois Armstrong, Joshua Pearo, Zach Pearo (Ellen), Brendan Ryan (Jenissa), Corey Ryan, Ryan Armstrong (Stacey) and Rob Armstrong (Alyssa); his great grandchildren, Ricky, Graham, Seraphina, Hunter and Xander; his brothers, Leonard Armstrong (Donna) of Champlain and Thurman Armstrong, Jr. (Linda) of Champlain; Michael Armstrong of Champlain, John Armstrong (Linda) of Kansas, Rose Paola (Lawrence) of Plattsburgh, Jim Armstrong (Lynn) of Champlain, Kay Jeffries (Jim LaValley), Elizabeth (Donnie Hicks), Nancy Daniels and Dale Ashline.

Face coverings and social distancing will be required.
