It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Rimbey of Chemung, New York, born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 30, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lester Rimbey and Helen Shermer Rimbey; and his sister Barbara Ann Rimbey. He is survived by : his wife Nancy Rimbey of Chemung; his sons, Andrew John Rimbey (Sarah) of Jacksonville, FL, Jeffrey Walker (Susan) of Chemung and Steven Walker (Karen) of Elmira Heights; his sister Rita Rimbey of Elmira; and his grandchildren, Ciaran, Nora, Dylan (Ali), Devon and Nicholas.

Memorial donations may be made in John's name to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
