She was predeceased by : her husband Nelson; her parents, Sara Read and Wilbur Read; and her brother Jess Read. She is survived by : her children, Robert Cole (Jeanette) and Rhonda Cole; her stepchildren, Kelly Adams (Irene) and Karen Ipsaro (Earl); her grandchildren, Robert Cole Jr. (Krissy), Christopher Cole (Alyssa), Adam Cole, Andrew Cole, Melinda MacCormack (Eric) and Tim Ipsaro (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Mason Cole, Preston Cole, Emma MacCormick, Patrick MacCormick and Layton Cole; her brother Wilbur Read; her sister-in-law Gloria Read; and also, Buonemani and Meyer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“I am so sorry to hear of Betty's passing ! She was a great lady. We had so many laughs at work! Her and my mom Hazel, and Ruth are probably up there causing all kinds of trouble once again. Again my deepest sympathy for you all and cherish the memories of her as I have always cherished the memories I had working with her. Lynn Smith Hunt”
