She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Cheyne and Geraldine Cheyne (Barnes); her former husbands, Francis Recore and Elmer Nichols; her children, Gary Recore and Joanne Recore; and her son-in-law Wayne Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Recore (Sharon) of Ocala, Susan Miller of West Chazy, NY, Cindy Recore of Churubusco, NY and Deborah Patnode of Plattsburgh, NY; her daughter-in-law Deborah Recore of Chateaugay, NY; her sister-in-law Charles Cheyne (Anne); and her friends, Chuck Shonyo of Chateaugay and Adele Shonyo of Chateaugay. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gertrude's memory to the Huntington's Disease Society of America.
