It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland M. Dominic of Churubusco, New York, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roland M. Dominic to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dominic and Emma M. Dominic (Bushey); his daughter-in-law Brenda Dominic; his siblings, Maynard, Gary, Billy, Reginald Dominic and Antoinette Toohill; and his in-laws, Bill Toohill, Doug Chaffee and Joan Dominic.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Kelly; his children, Roland "RJ" Dominic (Anthony Dominic) of Mooers, Christine (Glen Bray) of Fort Covington, John (Lynne Dominic) of Brainardsville, Shawn (Kim Dominic) of Constable and James (Lynn Dominic) of Churubusco; his siblings, Mayfred Chaffee, Ragel (Maureen), Nancy Wayne, Marylee Fonner (Roy), Larry (Valerie), Robert and Jane Angello (Anthony); and his sister-in-law Donna Dominic. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and a great great granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Church (132 W Main St, Chateaugay, NY 12920).
Donations in Roland's memory may be made to the Ellenburg Center and Churubusco Fire Departments.
