He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Joseph Poirier and Nina Elizabeth Austin; and his pets, Spirit and Neville. He is survived by: his children, Eric Poirier (Lisa), Renee McGuire (Gary), Matthew Poirier (Mekala), Christian Poirier, Brett Poirier (Lauren) and Ryan Poirier (Vickie); his grandchildren, Reese, Emma Poirier, Owen, Jackson McGuire, Morgan and Maxwell Poirier; his sisters, Lonnie Coy and Laura Velasquez; his niece Paige Szymanak; his great-niece Evyrlee; and his former wife Lisa Poirier Grace.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
