He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Geiss and Genevieve B. Geiss. He is survived by: his wife Sandra K. McElheny; his sons, Matthew (Jennifer) of Rockville, MD, Benjamin (Anne) of Oswego and Brendan (Maria) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Christopher Carlyle, Evan, Michael, Ryan and Kennedy Geiss; and his sister Mary Provost (Richard) of Niskayuna, NY. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.
