Verda Scott Corbin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verda Scott Corbin of Clayton, New York, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin G. "Joe" and Ethel Edmonds Scott; her son-in-law Anthony "Tony" Nolan; and her siblings, Leon "Billy", John E. Scott, Harriett S. Brunig, Hazel Scott Calhoun and Nettie Scott Gino.
She is survived by: her former husband Lester J. Corbin; her children, Patricia Bertrand (Richard C.), Clayton, Alan R. Hutchinson (Marilyn), Jack Hutchinson (Sandy) and Judith E. Corbin; and her siblings, Melvin G. Scott (Michael Grusd) and Helen Scott Dombrowsky. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing are required for attendance to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Verda's name may be made to either St. Lawrence River Quilters or T. I. Arts Center, both at 314 John St., Clayton, NY 13624.
