He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Obernesser and Eileen Obernesser; his son Sean Casey Obernesser; and his siblings, Peter Obernesser (Jane), Charles Obernesser and Jean Theresa Obernesser.
He is survived by: his wife Lou Ann Obernesser (Remmell); his daughter Alexis Obernesser; and his siblings, William Obernesser (Lorraine), Albert Obernesser (Donna), James Obernesser, Robert Obernesser (Susan), Eileen Jungbluth (John), Karen LaScala (Len), Michael Obernesser (Sharon) and John Obernesser.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home (1550 US-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
