It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sean F. Dewey of Ticonderoga, New York, who passed away on July 25, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sean F. Dewey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father John Dewey; and his brothers, Brendan Dewey, George and Robert. He is survived by: his mother Eleanor Murphy Dewey; his sons, Vincent Ruggeri, Daniel Dewey (Jillian) and Brian Dewey; the mothers of children, Susann Dewey Tadjbakhsh and Mary Offenburg; his siblings, Noreen Dewey, Brian Dewey, Kevin Dewey (Jessica) and Tara Dewey (Riad); his grandsons, Brandon Glenn, Vincent Ruggeri Jr., Jonathan Ruggeri and Troy Dewey; and his close friends, Christine Nelson, Joe Martino, Mike Daignault, Larry Didinato and Kim Kaye. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home (1550 US-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial contribution in memory of Sean F. Dewey to either the American Heart Association or to any Environmental Conservation cause of your choice.
