She was predeceased by: her parents, John Langdon Hay and Corrie Dee Rowell Hay; her husband Ishmael Smith Garris (I. S.); her children, Steven Rai Garris and Gloria Susan Garris; and her granddaughter Susan Alaina Garris.
She is survived by: her daughter Jerri Ann Garris Gleason of Clifton Park; her daughter-in-law Raquel O. Garris of Cypress, Texas; her grandsons, Matt Gleason (Melissa) of Clifton Park, Marc Gleason of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Ryan Garris of Hockley, Texas.; her great grandchildren, Jaden, Bree Gleason of Clifton Park, Silas Gleason of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ethan and Logan Garris of Hockley, Texas.; and her brother-in-law C. C. Garris (Liz) of Farmerville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
