He is survived by : his wife Sandy; his children, Tammy Custer (Jeffrey) of Newark, Marion Brown (Thomas) of Waterloo, Alvina Marland (Leslie) of Syracuse, Russell Ryder of Waterloo, Alicia DeCarlo (Michael) of Irondequoit, Alvin III Ryder (Rachael) of Palmyra, Nichole Randall (Donald) of Morganton, NC, William Ryder (Ashley) of South Carolina, Stephen Black of Phelps and Kolby Gardner of Clifton Springs; and his siblings, Albert Ryder (Linda) of Gorham, Hazel Steiner of Seneca Falls, Theresa Frey (Keith) of Phelps and Beverly O'Brien of Phelps. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
