He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Owen Baker and Francis Jean Eckendorf; his sister Lillian Joan Dechamps (Baker); and his sons, Charles Edward Baker and Bradley Owen Baker.

He is survived by : his wife Pearl Laura Pitt; his children, Christopher James Baker (Annis May Lloyd) and Heather Marie Baker (Jamie McConnell); his daughter-in-law Crystal L Baker; his grandchildren, Daniel Christopher Baker, Austin Joseph Baker and Ivy May Rose Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Lewis Henry Pitt Jr., Johnny Pitt, Dorthy Pendley (Stanley) and Angela Tishler (Pitt). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
